NAVA’s Strategic Partnerships at the UNIDO Conference Strengthen Its National Role

Riyadh – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – November 2025

In its continuous efforts to develop national talents and strengthen the Kingdom’s role in the industrial and automotive sectors,

the fourth day of the conference, titled “Future Generation Day,” witnessed the signing of strategic partnerships for training and employment under the patronage and attendance of His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef , aimed at preparing specialized national competencies in the automotive sector.

These partnerships, between the National Automotive and Vehicles Academy “NAVA” and Hyundai, Ceer, and “hrdf” the Human Resources Development Fund resulted in providing more than 500 training opportunities leading to direct employment upon completion of the educational program. This initiative supports the enhancement of the industrial sector’s capabilities through world-class training programs aligned with the needs of leading companies.

These partnerships further strengthen the Academy’s position as a pioneering national institution that embodies the integration between education and industry, playing a pivotal role in empowering Saudi youth with future-ready skills aligned with the Kingdom’s industrial and technological transformation. This contributes to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in industrial localization and sustainable development.

The Academy will also work on launching new specialties, such as production, painting, assembly, maintenance, and quality control, in addition to offering short courses in supply chains, logistics operations, and quality management, to meet the needs of the industrial sector by developing the workforce’s skills according to the highest standards.

Al-Suhaim, the managing director of Nava Academy noted that the agreements signed with strong partners, such as Hyundai Middle East for Engine Manufacturing, Ceer the national electric vehicle company, and the Human Resources Development Fund “hrdf” lay the foundation for a new phase in the development of industrial human capital.

He said:

“These diverse partnerships form an integrated system that combines applied training with direct employment. Our collaboration with Hyundai opens doors for Saudi talents to train within an advanced manufacturing environment, while our partnership with Ceer contributes to building a generation specialized in electric vehicle technologies. As for Hadaf’s support, it enhances the sustainability of our programs and ensures the readiness of our national talents to join the industrial workforce. We are witnessing a national model that supports knowledge transfer, technology localization, and the creation of real career pathways for Saudi youth.”

The National Automotive and Vehicles Academy (NAVA) is the first and leading educational institution of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa. From its headquarters at King Salman Complex in King Abdullah Economic City, the Academy trains its students in vehicle maintenance and manufacturing. Its programs extend beyond that to cover all types of vehicles, helping build a promising generation capable of leading the automotive sector in the Kingdom.
