What is NAVA?

The National Automotive & Vehicles Academy (NAVA) is Saudi Arabia’s preeminent automotive academy responsible for skilling the Saudi and MENA youth for fulfilling careers in the emerging, cutting-edge automotive ecosystem of the Kingdom.

NAVA distinguishes itself through its applied, skill-based education and training programs, designed to empower graduates to shape the future of production and innovation within the electric automotive sector.

Yes, enrolling in one of NAVA’s programs comes with the unique advantage of conditional employment for those that pass the program.

Each enrolled student enters a conditional employment contract that includes a guaranteed job with a competitive salary package upon graduation, ensuring a secure and prosperous career path with one of our esteemed OEM partners.

To be eligible for admission to NAVA, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Age: Applicants should be between 18 to 25 years old.
  • Education: Must be enrolled or possess a relevant diploma from a Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) institute.
  • Test Scores: Must meet minimum required scores in local tests: Qudrat: 50%+ and Tahseele: 50%+
  • Nationality: Must be a Saudi National.

Our application process for NAVA is broken down into five key steps. It’s all about finding and picking the best fits for our programs.

Applying to NAVA involves a comprehensive 5-step process designed to identify and select the most suitable candidates for our programs:

  • Application Submission: Students start by applying through an online form, providing all necessary information. Applicants must be prepared to provide all the necessary documents for this step.
  • Initial Screening: Applications are then screened based on our admission requirements.
  • Online Assessments: Shortlisted candidates undergo a series of online assessments measuring personality, cognition, English proficiency, mechanical understanding, and digital literacy.
  • In-person or Virtual interviews with NAVA, Ceer and Lucid: Candidates who pass the online assessments are invited to participate in either an in-person or virtual assessment centers. Here, applicants will be evaluated on critical behaviors essential for success in the program and industry.
  • Final Selection: From this rigorous process, a final selection of students will be made. Those selected will receive an enrollment offer, securing their place in the academy.

There are various steps to prepare for in the application process depending on where you are selected to proceed to the next steps.

 

Application

In the application step, It Is Important to ensure the below Information Is prepared:

  • Saudi National ID Card
  • High School Diploma Certificate
  • TVTC Graduation Certificate or 1st Year of TVTC transcripts completion
  • Highest Level of Education Credentials
  • Qudrat Score Certificate
  • Tahseele Score Certificate

 

Online assessments

The online assessments will take place via online proctored technology. Therefore, it is very important to follow the below requirements:

  • Make sure you’re in a quiet place where you will not be disturbed before logging into or during the assessments.
  • Make sure you are in a place where internet is available and stable.
  • For the duration of your online assessments, your sessions will be proctored and monitored. Please make sure you are camera ready and, in a place where nobody will disturb you.
  • Complete the testing procedures once logging into the platform BEFORE starting the actual online assessments.
  • Please use a laptop with Google Chrome installed to log into the URL.
  • Do not use the back button or attempt to open other internet browser windows once a task has started, as this may result in you being locked out of your assessment.

 

Interviews:

If selected to proceed, the following guidelines are to be followed:

  • Be Yourself: The day is about understanding your strengths.
  • Rest Well: Ensure you’re well-rested, as the activities are designed to be challenging.
  • Don’t Be Anxious: Detailed instructions for each exercise will be provided on the day.
  • Sell Yourself: Be ready to discuss your achievements and provide specific examples.
  • Manage Your Time: Read instructions carefully and prioritize your tasks, as each activity is timed.
  • Stay Positive: There will be multiple opportunities to display your strengths, so don’t worry if you feel one activity didn’t go as well as hoped.

If you are invited to a Virtual Assessment Centre, ensure you have your PC or laptop ready with microphone and camera set-up. Ensure you have both Zoom and Teams video conferencing downloaded and available. Further instructions will be shared beforehand.

Yes, attending NAVA is entirely subsidized. This means that the full cost of education at NAVA is covered, allowing students to pursue their studies without the burden of tuition fees.

At present, NAVA is dedicated to serving Saudi national residents only.

Yes, the programs at NAVA will be accredited locally by TVTC and internationally by a prestigious international education provider, ensuring that the curriculum meets global standards of excellence in technical and vocational education.

For adjustments to the online assessments during the application process, please email us at admissions@nava.edu.sa detailing your need for an adjustment and the type of support you require. We will contact you via email to confirm whether your request can be accommodated.

At NAVA, our diploma program is entirely in English, necessitating a certain level of proficiency for admission. Recognizing that non-native speakers may need extra support, we provide a comprehensive English course in the foundation program.

Before starting the online assessments, make sure to review the instructions on the platform. For assessments like Mechanical Comprehension and Cognitive tests, practice questions are available just before you click ‘Begin’ on each assessment.

Regarding the personality assessment, remember that there are no right or wrong answers, so honesty is key.
