The National Academy of Vehicles and Automotive welcomed a delegation from BYD on Monday morning, 24 November 2025, at its headquarters in King Abdullah Economic City. The visit began with a tour of the Academy’s training workshops, laboratories, and classrooms, highlighting the quality of its facilities as part of the main objective: exploring the potential for a strategic collaboration between the two parties.
The Academy discussed the proposed concept with the delegation, and both sides expressed interest in launching a specialized training program aimed at preparing national talent in the maintenance and operation of electric vehicles. This initiative supports both local and global efforts to produce vehicles that contribute to building a new future for the automotive sector.
